Mii Popularity Channel announced for North America: Check Mii Out
First mentioned by Takeshi Shimada back in March, Nintendo today announced the Mii Popularity Channel will be making its way to North America sometime soon. Dubbed "Check Mii Out", gamers can submit Miis to be voted on and engage in contests and promotions. Kind of like Hot or Not, but, you know, with cartoon characters. Polish up your Mii likenesses of Stalin and Buddha, it's time for them to take a walk down the runway.

Very lame, indeed.

Gets my vote for lame as well. Just like the voting channel which was fun for about a day or two before it became annoying to use.

when????

This seems as useless as the "Everybody Votes" channel, but at least it will help me figure out which of my eleven Hitler Miis is the most popular.

Get ready to see a LOT of offensive Miis.

I think we can expect to see Miis named Uncle Tom, Mii so horny, the ubiquitous Hitler, etc...

It will most likely be moderated. I can't see Nintendo allowing a Mii with a nose like a penis named Mr. Wii-wii nose get put up for 5 year olds to see.

I was skeptical about the Everybody Votes channel, but they did make it work (mostly because of the betting portion of it)
hopefully they can do the same with this
